Top 10 Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Dihydroxyacetone, Gluconolactone (and) Sodium Benzoate (and) Calcium Gluconate, Beta Vulgaris (Beet) Root Powder, Caramel, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Bixa Orellana Seed Extract, Glycerin, Buddleja Davidii Extract
Overall, TanOrganic is a little better than average.
I really like that this product is all organic, and I feel like it made my skin pretty soft.
Application isn’t too messy as long as you use a tanning mitt.
The smell is very fresh, it smells very strong of citrus. Which is weird because they claim it has “no smell”. At least I couldn’t smell any DHA.
The color I got was a light to medium shade tan. The tan was very smooth and even, it looked SO natural, which I liked.
I would’ve liked to be a bit darker, you’d have to apply this one a few days in a row in order to achieve a dark tan.
This one also faded very quickly, which I was disappointed about. But I kind of expected it because the color was on the lighter side.
Overall it’s a decent tanner, especially if you’re looking for a very subtle tan!
Look and Feel
TanOrganic Self Tan comes out as a liquid, it feels like an oil.
It has an orange guide to it, but that guide quickly goes away one you rub the product in.
Usually I hate products that are liquids, as they are very difficult to apply and become very messy.
However, this one comes in a very strategic bottle, which limits only a few drops to come out at a time.
I used a tanning mitt while applying this one, so I would shake a few drops on it at a time and it worked out just fine.
It definitely can get a little messy if you don’t use a tanning mitt, because then it will drip off your hands and onto your floor.
So with this one I highly recommend using a tanning mitt or else you’ll have to do some major cleanup!
The orange guide in it, but once you blend the liquid into your skin the guide quickly goes away.
All you need is a very light layer when applying this one, and I found that a little went a long way.
This one dried pretty quickly, I was pleasantly surprised.
Most oils/liquids tend to dry quickly because the product is so thin.
Overall, this one took under 10 minutes to completely dry.
After it dried my skin felts smooth and supple.
Smell (Before Application)
This one claims to have no smell. That’s definitely not the case, as there is a pretty strong citrus smell with this product.
I didn’t mind the smell, it smelled very fresh and I couldn’t smell any DHA.
I just thought it was kind of weird they said it had no smell, when it definitely did.
Smell (After Several Hours And The Next Day)
When I woke up the next morning I couldn’t smell any scent.
The citrus scent was completely gone, but I still couldn’t smell any DHA.
TanOrganic Self Tan ended up giving me a light to medium shade tan.
I really would’ve liked it to be darker, but it was at least very smooth and natural.
I was surprised how natural and streak free it was.
The color was just pretty light, I’d have to apply it a few times in a row to get a medium to dark shade tan.
How Long It Lasts
This one didn’t last too long.
After about 1-2 days I was looking very pale again.
I wish this product would’ve lasted another 3-4 days, but it was a very light color to begin with so I wasn’t really surprised.
The good thing was it didn’t get splotchy or streaky at all as it faded.
It faded like a natural tan would.
OK For Men?
If men are looking for a very subtle, light tan I think they’d like this one.
It’s price is pretty average, and a little bit goes a long way.
The tan is very light so don’t expect a deep color.
TanOrganic Self Tan worked out to $6.14 an ounce, which is pretty average.
The good news is, one bottle will last a long time because a little bit goes a long way.
